Former Chilean visual artist Andres Bucci began producing music while living in Berlin. He continued working on a solo carrier under the alias Chord and as a member of Plan V, playing regularly in Chile and Argentina. Martin Schopf’s (aka Dandy Jack) record label Ruta 5 invited him to participate in the Austral project: a compilation including Atom Heart, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano and Daniel Nieto. In 2002 he met Kate Simko in Santiago, and quickly the duo released the stunning “Shapes of Summer” album for German label Traum. In 2004 Detalles performed at MUTEK.CL, then Bucci was invited to MUTEK Montreal 2005 and again in 2007. His 2005 set received excellent reviews and that was the starting moment when Bucci started to tour every year to different countries and playing in festivals such as Synch (Athens) and many clubs around Europe and Japan. In 2006 Cynosure released his “Don Julio’s Converseria” EP and in 2007 the Seattle Label Kupei Musika released the second Detalles album “Micros morning” as well as a solo 12" named "Chocopanda" with a remix of Dandy Jack. In 2008 Horizontal label owned by Chilean producer Dinky released the EP "Avec Style" as Bucci. Currently Bucci is based in Santiago and also in Berlin working on his forthcoming EP and 2010 tour.
